Do you own a camera? Do you enjoy taking pictures? Would you like to use your camera more often? Do you want to take better photographs and enjoy them more?

Perhaps you just need a little more incentive to spark your interest. The Youngstown Camera Club (officially known as the Youngstown Photographic Society ) is what you've been looking for. We are a group of photographers who enjoy our hobby. We take photographs and share them with other interested photographers. We share, not only the images, but also the knowledge that went into their making. As a member, you, too, can share in that knowledge.

Our interests vary, covering a wide range of photographic subjects. Whatever your interest is in photography you can be sure you will be welcomed in the Youngstown Camera Club .

The Youngstown Camera Club was founded in 1948 as an association for the mutual enjoyment of photography. Our members have a variety of interests and experience. Traditional photography as well as digital photography is represented.
Here is a sampling of the things you can participate in as a member:
Competitions - Compete in competitions where your images are judged against other photographers.

Workshops - This is where you can learn the latest techniques, use of equipment and other subjects. Enjoy a field trip, nature walk or portrait session. Learn from our many talks, demonstrations and hands-on instructions on many different subjects by invited speakers, as well as knowledgeable club members.
Critiques - Bring in your photos for constructive criticism. Share your views, opinions and ideas with others.
Our meetings are held the first and third Monday of the month. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings will be held at 7:30 PM at the Christ's Church, 7155 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, Ohio.
